Tot Hill Farm - New Construction - Asheboro, NC

For the design direction of the Tot Hill Farm project, our clients wanted a home that projected livable luxury with a metropolitan feel, and the space had to have a pet-friendly interior. We opted for a classic design with clean lines, layers of textures, and a warm, neutral color palette of ivory, charcoal and dusty browns. The finished look was sophisticated and tailored yet comfortable.

We managed the interior design of this new home construction from the blueprint stage to the final finishing touches, choosing every fixture, fabric and feature. This home was completely custom designed to be elegant but also to fit the lifestyle of the clients. We created banquette seating for the wife to sip her morning coffee and read the New York Times, and we installed a bathroom TV so the husband could watch the stock market at 5 a.m. Even the garage was custom designed for the couple’s dogs with heating and air conditioning, a washing station and a ramp for an aging dog. The garage was a major factor in the design because it was important to the clients. We also made sure the positioning of the house of was perfect to take advantage of the beautiful golf course it overlooked. We spared no detail in the design of this custom home.

For this project, we kept the current configuration, giving the space a total facelift within the existing footprint.

Irving Park - Interior Design - Greensboro, NC

This interior design project was in the historic Irving Park neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina. The clients were a family of four that had recently moved back from Japan. They wanted a decorator that could provide a design that was crisp, comfortable, familiar and inviting for the family. They also wanted to incorporate some of their own furniture and art.

For the living room, we paired classic and modern elements, introducing layers of neutrals and graphic patterns with pops of turquoise and burnt orange. We wanted to incorporate the family’s worldly travels and unique Asian art in a sophisticated way without the feel of a “theme” room. We balanced unique pieces like the turquoise horse sculptures with fun but understated graphic patterns. For the bedroom, we created a serene and comfortable space using cool gray hues mingled with gold and ivory to compliment the client’s antique Asian prints. We increased the size of the closet, added a small seating area and mounted elegant sconces to the wall. This bedroom was a bit on the small side after the closet was enlarged, so we selected every item with careful attention to scale to make the space feel as large and airy as possible.

New Irving Park - New Construction - Greensboro, NC

This home is located in Wynnewood, a neighborhood in the New Irving Park area of Greensboro, North Carolina. The clients were a married couple with two young sons. They asked us to develop a design direction and create a home that was relaxed, low maintenance, light, bright and child friendly. They were looking for a timeless design that conveyed quality and featured custom details. We introduced a bespoke tailored look with pops of color, texture and soft details to create a sophisticated yet comfortable space.

The home was new construction, and the Jessica Dauray Interiors team managed the interior design from the ground up, choosing every fixture, finish, molding, appliance, flooring and paint color. We altered the custom floor plan to accommodate the clients’ personal living style and desire for an open floor plan. The family wanted to have plenty of open space for the kids to play and do their homework. We designed a nook for the children to play and used fun stripes on the wall in the children’s bathroom. We selected fabrics, rugs and furniture that were not just stylish, but durable and easy to clean. The gourmet kitchen was designed with custom appliances that have features like warming drawers. Organization was also a priority, so we designed lots of custom storage, including cubbies and storage nooks.

Henson Forest - Interior Design - Summerfield, NC

For the interior design for this home in Summerfield, North Carolina, we transformed an unused dining space into a sophisticated sitting room and office. With four active kids and a casual lifestyle, the dining room was underutilized allowing a remodel that improved the homes usability. The family wanted to create a space they could enjoy that would double as a work space for the wife to meet clients.

Livable elegance is the best way to describe this space. The design is sophisticated but comfortable and easy. The room, which is the first visitors see when they walk in the home, blends form and function. Knowing that children would be in and out of the space, we choose beautiful items that were also durable. We also designed custom furniture and had it built for storage. We brought in graphic drapery treatments, a textured grasscloth wall covering, a Sisal area rug, and a custom-designed jeweled and stone chandelier. We incorporated cerused wood finishes, copper metals and natural stone, creating a light and bright space and an interior design that makes an elegant statement.

Bluff Run - Interior Design - Greensboro, NC

Jessica Dauray Interiors decorated this home in the Bluff Run neighborhood in Greensboro, North Carolina. The clients were a husband and wife, both doctors, with two young children. They wanted a design that was luxurious yet simple. They appreciate the details and were willing to splurge on some unique and special elements to make the house their perfect home.

The interior design we created is architectural and organized that resulted in a beautiful serene flow throughout their home. We like to call the style the “new traditional.” We balanced the structured look with soft touches and subtle whimsy, from the cowhide rug and the metallic ottoman in the office to the turquoise chandeliers in the dining room. The pops of color and well thought out details softened the space without overwhelming it. We custom designed features throughout the house for storage that are as beautiful as they are functional, including built-in filing cabinets in the office accented with antique Asian hardware.
